Famous Japanese game designer Hideo Kojima (Konami) and high-end eyewear designer Jean-François Rey have created an exceptional range of optical and sunglasses frames for their capsule collection right in time to release the new opus of Konami’s Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain
A collaboration that is both unlikely and spontaneous, the J.F.Rey/Metal Gear Solid V collection is the outcome of a fascination towards Japan by the french eyewear creator Jean-François Rey and his serious fan Hideo Kojima, a prolific game designer. Driving this common passion for creation and adventure, the collection is exactly what is expected by the fans of these two renowned creators: an absolute surprise.
Futuristic lines, pallets of oxidized tints and camouflages in military accents, the models drawn from the graphic directory of the game, carefully cultivates the spirit of urban adventurer. The collection comes in around twenty-one variations, including a limited edition with Hideo Gear.
In shades, the UV J.F.Rey/Metal Gear Solid V Collection is a range of strong character sun frames. Worn by the on-screen Hideo Kojima’s heroes, the shades vary in discreet colours and sun lenses with camouflage motifs and Kaz frames.
The Ocelot collection brings open-work side shields that are woven with nylon thread, ultra-narrow temples and category 2 sun lenses and camouflage motifs.
